February Almost March

Where has the time gone. It seems like yesterday and we were bringing home our little Brock from the hospital. Now he's almost 13 months and loving life. We have been so busy with a pre-toddler, going to school, and work. This winter has been a bust hardly any snow for Brock to enjoy, so now we are waiting for some nice weather so we can keep our little rug rat out of the cubbards and into the grass. I really would to start barbequing for more this year but first we need a BBQ. On another note we are hoping to find out where Matt will be stationed in the next 6 months. Although we feel blessed to be in DC and so close to my long lost family, we are both looking for an area with less people. I will try and do a better job of updating this blog, its fun to look back and see what I was doing a year ago.
God Bless,
Betsy

Playing Around

Everyday Brock is getting more mobile. He is the happiest when you are helping him stand. Yesterday we had to go over to Joint Base Andrews to pick up a comforter set that I bought on our base for sale site and had an hour to burn before the BX opened. Here is a couple of pictures we took while playing in the Jeep.

Well it seems like yesterday and we were bringing little Brock home from the hospital. Three months later and we have a bouncing 15 pound boy. Brock has recently discovered his feet and spends his time reaching and trying to eat them. Depending on the night Brock either sleeps through the night or wakes up twice I prefer the sleep through the night routine but he hasn't made up his mind yet so hopefully he will be sleeping through the night soon. I'm excited for warmer weather so we can get out more. Its defiantly true in Brock's case the more fresh air he gets during the day the more he sleeps at night.
Today is my first Mothers day and I spent it with Brock relaxing. Matt is now a Tech. School Instructor and has been traveling around to different bases and training the Base Honor Guard. The next couple of week Matt will be in California training the Travis AFB Base Honor Guard.
Hope Everyone had a great Mothers Day. <3
